We currently have a number of vacancies for knowledgeable cable jointers, electrical fitters and project managers, and are also recruiting for a design engineer.
We’re on the hunt for experienced cable jointers to work on a variety of high voltage electrical projects. The ideal candidate will be trained to a minimum of 11kV, but higher voltages would be an advantage. Experience of working with PILC, XLPE and EPR cables is essential, and the competitive salary will be based upon qualifications and experience!
If you’re a talented fitter with experience working on projects from 11-132kV, you could be just the person we’re looking for! Teamwork is essential, as the right candidate will work alongside other fitters as well as project staff involved in the design management and installation of systems and equipment. Salary is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Do you have experience in project management and a background in electrical engineering? If so, let us know! We’re looking for knowledgeable managers to look after our wide portfolio of power assignments. The new recruits will be responsible for overseeing everything from contract negotiations and senior handovers, to site energisation and production of maintenance manuals. Effective organisational and communication skills are crucial, and you’ll be eager to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
We’re currently recruiting for a design engineer for new connections, with the capability to put ICP designs together for various DNOs. The right candidate will be competent in protection and control, substation and earthing design, as well as possessing the necessary technical skills to see projects through to completion. Experience designing new 33kV connections is vital, and higher voltages would be beneficial but not essential.
If you’re a commissioning engineer with experience of working on high voltage projects, you could be the perfect fit for this role. Responsibilities will include commissioning switchgear and cabling, along with carrying out all the required testing for the adoption of these by a host DNO or client. The role may also entail assisting other operatives on a range of projects, so a can-do attitude and great teamwork are essential!
