Tendering team tops year-end targets
Following close weekly monitoring of our targets and orders throughout the 2016-17 financial period, we’re delighted to report at the year-end that our tendering team has achieved some excellent results.
At the start of the period, challenging targets for both quoting and intake were set. And we didn’t just meet the ambitious goal of £150m for quotations, but actually surpassed it, with a total of £168.4m. We’re similarly thrilled that we managed to hit our intake target too, as confirmed orders for the year reached £30.2m, with an additional £15.7m under negotiation.
Commenting on these successes, tendering manager Clive Naylor said: “As always, it’s brilliant to see the hard work and dedication of both the tendering and wider Smith Brothers team paying off. Our achievements from the last financial year have received a great amount of attention, so hitting our targets once again just goes to show how driven we are to progress and that this recognition is well-deserved.
“But even with so many more successful projects under our belt this year, we’re not slowing down – we’re already looking ahead to the next 12 months with a full order book and even better year-end projections.”
So, with one eye on the future and the other on this year’s accomplishments, we think some celebrations are in order…
